The
Love Recipe
"Since relationships reflect back to each of us the behavior or qualities we own and are a "working-on-the-self" opportunity, what does love have to do with it? Well for one thing, as I stated in the beginning of this booklet, ["Thoughts on Relationships,"] a person loves and appreciates his/her own positive, charming, kind, thoughtful qualities that he/she sees in another person via the Magic Mirror of Reflection. The key word: love. And secondly, you must love and value yourself in order for other people to love you. If you believe you are unlovable, why would anyone love you? Obviously, love is one of the key ingredients in any relationship, but other ingredients are needed to make the most scrumptious partnership there can be. Other ingredients, such as mutual respect, honor, humor, shared interests, the same or similar goals, and just plain liking your partner." Excerpt from "Thoughts on Relationships," of the Warm Fuzzies series, by Miss Dee. So look again at your spouse, partner, lover or the one who has attracted your attention. Be grateful for and appreciative of his/her good, positive, and loving qualities because you have and express them, too. And what about the not-so-good qualities he/she exhibits? Why do they bother you? Because you have and/or possibly express them, too. If you'd like some gift ideas for your special someone, in case you want to give him/her a token of your affection for Valentine's Day, please click on the article, "Love + Love = Love." . Compatible books with this month's topic are the booklets, "Thoughts on Being Cherished," "Thoughts on Relationships," "Thoughts on Life Purposes," and "Thoughts on Your Psychic Self," of the Warm Fuzzies series, all by Miss Dee.
