Your Psychic Self

"...because I'm overwhelmed by pain and anguish," they explain. "It's a curse being this sensitive. I wish I'd never been born with it!"
After he/she finishes releasing his/her frustration over being an emotional/psychic sponge, I take a few moments to point out that calling this wondrous gift "a curse" not only dishonors the gift and the self, but that it also insults God.
First of all, God is love. His gifts consist of love. Why would He lovingly give anyone a detrimental gift?
Secondly, this gift was chosen. Before anyone incarnated into this life or became flesh, this beneficial as well as wondrous gift was chosen. Why would anyone give him/herself the gift of liability?
And, thirdly, there is no such thing as a curse. Being an emotional/psychic sponge proves to the owner that he/she is sensitive/psychic/intuitive."
